WHAT IS AN INITIAL ASSESSMENT?
The Initial Assessment session is very important to our practitioners, as it defines the planning, execution and development of your sessions at our centre. It takes place, before any new member can start any treatment or classes at Central Balance
HOW DOES IT WORK?
This session works to provide us with the essential information, for determining your individual goals and our choices for the safest approach to your needs.
HOW IS IT DONE?
The Initial Assessment session is very important to our practitioners, as it defines the planning, execution and development of your sessions at our centre. It lasts 1 hour and takes place before our new participants begin to attend, any of the treatment sessions, or classes offered at Central Balance.
An interview takes place, with a trained practitioner, who will ask for details of any current issues and take your full medical history, within GDPR Compliant Guidelines.
A full postural and movement assessment will take place to determine your fitness levels and postural needs.
Discussion of goals and how they may be achieved through chosen type of sessions (i.e. combinations of Pilates and Reflexology or Physiotherapy).
An evaluation of both the history reported and observations made, in carried out, in order to determine the best type and frequency of sessions for you.
The last 10 minutes of your session include a brief overview of the fundamentals of the approach we will use, as well as a small introduction to the basics.
WHAT DO I NEED TO BRING?
Remember to bring any doctor’s prescriptions, scan results, medication list.
Your consent and agreement will be required, regarding the Central Balance Policies and Procedures, as well as Central Balance GDPR Operations. Relevant documents, will be provided, on the day of your Initial Assessment and your signature will be required, once you have read and understood the information.
