THERAPEUTIC AND SPORTS MASSAGE
WHAT IS THERAPEUTIC MASSAGE?
Therapeutic Massage involves a series of manual techniques, applied to muscles and joints, designed to relax, invigorate, detoxify and restore your body, for those who are involved in sports, intensive training, or who just need to relax. It is also appropriate for those with jobs demanding physical activity or prolonged positions and postures, such sitting in front of a computer.
HOW DOES IT WORK?
Massage can be beneficial to improve a history of injuries to muscles, tendons and ligaments, to prevent recurrence of injuries, for improving posture and function, as well as helping with controlling the progression of spinal deformities such as scoliosis, kyphosis and lordosis. It works by maintaining flexibility and strength within soft tissues and improving circulation of the blood and lymphatic system.
